As I'm staring through this fire, it's too late to make you mine, so far from where we started, so far from what we wanted.
I go to carnivals for three reasons.
1.) Going on rides that make people with weak stomachs puke.
2.) Eating deep fried twinkles until I feel like I'm going to puke.
3.) Checking out the sweet music performances that end up on the weeklong setlist.
This year, as usual, I didn't break any traditions. It's always bittersweet when Stampede ends, real life usually isn't quiiiite as fun as Stampede life - however if I ate one more mini donut, my butt was going to start resembling one.
First interview of Stampede was State of Shock.
I met the band years ago when they were opening for a friends band, they were really sweet then, and just as sweet when I met them this time. I've always dug and respected their catchy rock music, and they just released a new album so I figured, what better time to talk to them about that.. and deep fried koolaid - which we later found out yes, does exist, and no, we couldn't find it anywhere at stampede... even though me & Jen dedicated half a day to looking for it.
The sun was super bright that day, which means I turn into a ghost halfway through the interview, and the weird music in the background was courtesy of some opera singer wailing away, but the guys gave a great interview nonetheless, can't wait to see what this group does next!
this house screams of memories and half written songs, with the chance of completion depending on love.
I never wanted to be the type of person who could be summarized into one single paragraph.
I also never wanted to be so complicated that I needed a small novel to explain myself.
I'm working on being somewhere in the middle.
If you're reading this, that means that you've somehow stumbled upon my brand new website!
I'm sitting here, staring at my new site while shoving yogurt covered raisins into my face, trying to calm down the excitement and nervousness.
Okay, who am I kidding, I really just wanted a reason to finish off these yogurt covered raisins.
I work as a entertainment host, videographer, and editor. I'm a multi tasker. I daydream too much, and sleep too little, and I believe that there's a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow - but that none of us can run fast enough to snatch it up before the rainbow disappears.
With my pot of gold, I'll most likely buy a puppy, a beach house in LA, and of course, more yogurt covered raisins.
This is my life.
This is where I blog. Update interviews. Update photos. And blog about things as random as I am.
If I had a genie to grant me three wishes, I'd wish that everybody in the world has the chance to be happy, I'd wish that everybody in the world has a chance to be healthy, and I'd wish that I get to do this, for the rest of my life.
